When is it that you love your children most?
I know we all love our children. That is not what I am asking. I masking, when is it that your children capture your heart more. Those moments when you suddenly feel a rush of love for your children. You know it is always there but those times when you suddenly feel your heart beat for the moment with your child? I am a mother and well, for me, when my older daughter stood in the kitchen with me one day when her beautiful blonde brown hair was combed neatly and her blue eyes sparkled as she looked up at me to talk to me. My baby girl is beautiful, not just physically but in every way too. Just that moment she stood out more. She has honey coloured skin, so her beautiful blue eyes do stand out more, but it was just the way her eyes sparkled as the afternoon sun shone in through the kitchen window.

For my youngest child well, the other night when we were lying in my bed, my baby decided to play peek a boo with me and she covered her gorgeous little face with her tiny hands, then giggled when she opened up again to reveal her wide blue eyes all sparkly with laughter. Sometimes when she catches my eye, she quickly makes monkey faces and then bursts out into giggles, especially at the table. She did the same thing at a kids party where she caught my eye and then made a few funny faces before bursting out laughing. Needless to say I made a few back… and the other mothers were all smiling at us too.

When one says, "I love you."
When one volunteers a kiss and/or a hug.
When one offers to help you do whatever it is you’re doing (find SOME part of it s/he can feel s/he’s helping with; it’s important to your child).
When you’re feeling sick or low and your "baby" tries to make you feel better (offers you her favorite doll).

It is those little things, isn’t it?

The minute they are born…The first time they call me daddy, or say I love you, give you a hug n kiss, when I go into their rooms at night while they are sleeping to check on them, when they give me drawings from school, when I feel sad or sick they come over and say love you, I can go on and on…
